Ongoing Formation

Formation, initial and on-going, is a single reality. It includes our whole life. The focus of the phase of on-going formation is about deepening one’s relationship with Christ, internalizing Christ’s values, with the constant call to conversion and compassion that this journey entails. Its purpose is also to help each one to strengthen her sense of belonging to the Congregation. It helps one renew her vocation and availability for the mission confided to us in the Church. The community is a privileged place, where we support one another and allow ourselves to be shaped for better apostolic service. Thus, all members are responsible for the mutual formation of one another in community and for the quality of their missionary presence.

THE TERTIANSHIP

It is desirable that six to ten years after final vows, the General Council offers sisters a time of renewal. This usually coincides with mid-life and so needs a specific program to deal with the questions and challenges at this time of one’s life.

TRANSITION SESSION AND SESSION FOR SENIORS

The different periods in our life provide opportunities to deepen our vocation as religious missionaries and adapt ourselves to our own changing situations. For these reasons, sisters of sixty years of age and above are invited to sessions appropriate to their age group.
