Our reasons for an integral ecology

 Justice, peace and integrity of creation (JPIC) has been the golden thread passing through our entire missionary commitment since our origins…” (CA 2011, p. 21).

From chapter to chapter, we see our interest given to the specific commitment for more human dignity and the care of our “Mother” Earth.

Since the 2017 General Chapter, we have become increasingly aware of the seriousness of the destruction of our planet. Having received Pope Francis’ call in “Laudato Si” (2015) for an ecological conversion, we have decided to join the commitment of the Church and all people of good will through prayer and action and by questioning our lifestyle.

In addition to that, our last chapter invites us to expand the space of our tent, to give birth to a new creation.

With all this in mind, we commit ourselves to the fundamental foundations of our relationship with God, with our neighbours and with the Earth itself.

This is how we can respond to the cry of the Earth and the clamour of the poor.

We can be all to all because we are all to all creation.
