She grew up in Plouguerneau and at the age of 24 left for Algeria to join the young congregation founded by Cardinal Lavigerie. There she lived in a community of joy, sharing and prayer. She died at the age of 83 in 1930. A Vocation weekend in Poland
This weekend we will speak Polish! THEME: “TO BE A MISSIONARY SISTER OF OUR LADY OF AFRICA… WHY NOT ME?” A vocation weekend for women between the ages of 18 and 35 wishing to discern their vocation and get to know our congregation a little better. DATES: From 16 to 18 February 2024 in Lublin. For those who are willing, there is the possibility to arrive earlier or to extend the stay. PROGRAMME: – Meetings with other young people who are discerning their vocation; – Meetings with the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa from the Lublin community; – Presentation of the charism of the Congregation and learning about the missionary work of the Sisters; – Time for personal and community prayer with the Word of God; All this in an international and intercultural atmosphere. Vocational discernment camp – from 22 to 29 August 2022 in Burkina Faso
The Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa invite young girls who wish to attend a vocational discernment camp on the theme: “Youth in search , what are you looking for?” This camp will take place from the evening of Monday 22 August to the morning of Monday 29 August 2022 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, around the cathedral next to the grotto, in the courtyard of the White Sisters. Arrival: from 3pm The participation fee is 2000F per person. Transport is at the expense of each participant. Please bring a Bible, a notebook and a pen, as well as personal necessities.
