A new missal for my daughter The ” Chapelle Lavigerie ” is located in Tunisia in the parish of St. Cyprien in Carthage. I go there regularly for mass during the week. But one evening, something important happened there! During an adoration, I said “yes” to a project that I had started a few years earlier and then dropped it. “Make me next year’s missal”. In 2018, I wanted to give a missal to my student children, a daily missal to encourage them to read the Bible. All I found were Sunday missals or perpetual missals that were very expensive and complicated to use, not at all the kind to give to students! Since I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I went to work and made this missal myself.  I found the texts online, on the site of the AELF, the Episcopal Liturgical Association for French-speaking countries. Visiting the prison Once a month, Anafrida Biro goes to the prison to accompany the prisoners and pray with them. The prisoners who need someone to talk to wait for her with joy. With the homeless Once a week Ania helps at the Volunteer Center, where a warm meal is given to the homeless, former prisoners and people who are in a difficult situation. July 11 was the launch of tree planting by the Islamic-Christian group (ICG), in collaboration with the Association ‘Children of the Sun’ in the suburbs of Arafat. Sr.Celina, who is the initiator of the « One tree per family » project, is also the head of the Islamic-Christian group. On the first day of the tree planting, Sr Celina with Victorine, Fr Victor the chaplain of the group, Sr.Marie Jesus, Daughter of Charity, four other members and a young Christian man joined the ‘Children of the Sun’ group to participate in the work of land preparation. They dug holes one meter deep and one meter in diameter. Then the holes were half filled with sand and manure. The first day they dug 8 holes because it was more difficult than expected.
